Detroit Equal Pitch Project supports women and non-binary athletes in many ways. Check out what we've done so far.

Raised $3,726 at Motor City Mayhem

Detroit Equal Pitch Project hosted a 3v3, co-ed futsal tournament in April 2024 with the goal of raising money to support players of Women+ Soccer Detroit in participating in tournaments in 2024. Click the image to learn about the Motor City Mayhem 2024.

$1,000 in financial aid for Houston Tournament

Women+ Soccer Detroit sent one team to Futbolera's 7 v7 women's tournament in Houston, Texas in May 2024. To reduce barriers to participation and encourage interest in competition, Detroit Equal Pitch Project provided $200 in financial aid to 5 players!

$1,136.69 in financial aid for Philadelphia tournament

Women+ Soccer Detroit sent TWO teams to Icarus Cup in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in July 2024. Detroit Equal Pitch Project provided ~$200 in financial aid to 6 players which enabled players to attend who otherwise wouldn't have been able to make it.

Donations Make Our Work Possible

As a small non-profit, donations make our work possible. All donations go towards funding activities, organizing events, and procuring resources to advance the participation of women and non-binary adults in soccer.
